The BRC appointed Kyle Monk as their Head of Insight & Analytics in April 2019. Under his remit as Head of the Retail Insight & Analytics (RIA) team, Kyle leads the organisation’s overall data strategy, overseeing all sector research, reporting, and analysis, capturing the performance of and supporting the needs of the retail sector.
Canadian-native Kyle joined the BRC from The New West End Company, where he served as Head of Insight, overseeing all consumer research & economic assessment work for the London based lobby group. Kyle previously served in Market Intelligence for Planet, a multinational payment solution provider, where he was responsible for cross-border research on the shopping habits of Ultra High Net Worth consumers. He began his career in policy research, running several international studies on agility and gender equality in European government.
