Martin has more than 11 years of professional experience in building innovative businesses. As the Business Owner / Head of Consumer Insights at ZMS (a subsidiary of Zalando SE) he establishes a data-driven B2B offer to other businesses within the fashion and beauty industries with his team. Prior to joining Zalando 5 years ago he used to work in consultancy and venture capital with focus on commercializing technologies, preferably via founding new spin-off companies from public research. He is passionate about innovation and business models in technology, especially with regards to big data.

Martin holds a university degree in industrial management and engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany and studied a year abroad at Universidade do Minho in Guimarães and Braga, Portugal.
