Biography Summary Chris is a passionate data professional with over 20 years of experience across both Retail and Financial Services. He has a proven track record in delivering significant benefits through effective and innovative utilisation of organisations’ data assets. Career Chris joined Shop Direct in 2010 to head its Retail & Financial Services Targeting team; a notable achievement within this role was an analytical project that led directly to a clear business case to remove physical catalogues from the business. In 2014 Chris became Head of Business Insight & Data Strategy with a brief to democratise insight across the business and form a clear roadmap to drive maximum value from Shop Direct’s crown jewels – its data. His current focus is on delivering a world-class data asset that enables decision-makers across the business to have easy access to the data & insight they need and the tools to make best use of it. Prior to joining Shop Direct, Chris held data & analysis posts across a range of businesses in both Retail and Financial Services including: Lloyds Banking Group, MBNA Europe, The Co-operative Group, Matalan & Empire Stores.
