Jonathan Wall began his e-commerce career at dabs.com when, in September 1999, the decision was taken to transform the IT catalogue mail order business. As marketing director, Jonathan and his team were instrumental to the success of Dabs online and helped dabs.com become one of the UK’s first and most successful pure-play online retailers. Jonathan was responsible for Product Management, E-Commerce and consumer sales and as an Executive Director reported directly to the founder and CEO.
In April 2006, dabs.com was sold to BT Retail and Jonathan helped with the integration of the business into BT and the transition of the BT Shop onto Dabs’ e-commerce platform.
Jonathan left Dabs in September 2008 after a successful transition period to become CEO at Flowersdirect.co.uk, one of the UK’s leading online florists. With its 900 member florists across the UK offering same day delivery of flowers and gifts, Flowersdirect was on its way to becoming established as a strong challenger to the established hierarchy in the floral sector and Jonathan oversaw a business transformation that included new business and e-commerce systems and the overhaul of the product offering.
In April 2010, Jonathan took on the role of Group e-commerce director at Shop Direct Group. With control of the commercial performance of the group’s websites, Jonathan’s expertise is being used to drive new visitors to the sites. Jonathan’s remit also includes the optimisation of these sites and improving conversion rates and visitor journeys. In July 2012 Jonathan took on the responsibility of development of the websites following the departure of the E-Commerce Development director and now looks after Web Development, Usability & the User Journey of

He also shaped new customer offerings such as the ‘Tesco Access’ site for blind customers and the first mobile phone app for grocery shopping in 2003 as well as the first Tesco iPhone app in 2009.

Phil joined the group February 2018 from SIG plc (a £3bn turnover building supply business) where he was their Group Supply Chain Director. Phil was responsible for delivering their transformation programme across Europe.

Sam is a life-long entrepreneur co-founding and running start-ups. The current business Gnewt Cargo, which began as an Angel-invested company in 2009, has enjoyed exponential growth ever since and has won multiple awards from the electric vehicle, logistics and environmental sectors. The company narrowly missed out on a place in the Sunday Times Rich List 2015 as one of the UK’s fastest growing companies.
Gnewt was part-sold in 2014 by DX PLC at a £3.5m valuation five years after inception and has subsequently now been acquired in full by John Menzies Plc for an undisclosed fee.

Following this role in transformational change, she moved into marketing at Shop Direct as a Brand Director responsible for creating the brand isme, targeting the 50+ female consumer.
Her last role prior to joining Hotter was European Managing Director at Lands’ End, a classic American lifestyle brand targeting the more mature customer. Here she was responsible for modernising the business and leading its digital transformation in the UK, Germany, Austria and France.
Outside of work her passions include: Skiing, yoga, pilates, cookery, and retail therapy, with a real weakness for buying shoes!

He is passionate about offering real convenience to an increasingly sophisticated, demanding and tech-enabled customer.

Simon joined Harrods Limited as an Executive Trainee in 1996 after graduating from University the previous year. On completion of the scheme in 1997, he moved on to the sales floor as an assistant manager in the International Crystal department; however it was not long before he discovered that his true passion lay within logistics and he moved into selling support. Simon has held many positions within the Store Operations and Distribution Directorates with responsibilities ranging from Retail Operations, Distribution, Warehousing Fulfilment and Delivery.
In 2007 he was appointed Deputy Director of Distribution, and in addition to running the Distribution and eCommerce operations he lead the team in the re-design of the supply chain and in the delivery of many projects, including the design and build of the new Harrods Distribution Centre in West Berkshire that opened in 2012.
Simon was appointed Director of Distribution for the Retail Group in August 2015 and is responsible for driving the supply chain strategy to support Harrods Omni channel growth. Simon is passionate about collaboration within supply chain and sits on the GS1 UK Apparel board, alongside other leading retailers and brands, and is working towards delivering a new data model for the luxury apparel industry.
Simon completed an MBA at Cass Business School in 2011 and lives with his wife and two young daughters in West London.

A seasoned marketer with over 20 years experience in senior roles across both B2B & B2C businesses (including 6 years at Screwfix). During his time at Nisbets he set up both the e-commerce & retail functions (Nisbets.co.uk is now an Internet Retailing Top 100 site; the UK retail estate has grown to 31 stores nationally) and is currently grappling with global digital transformation. His remit also covers Nisbets Irish business, Mitre Linen (linens, bedding & soft furnishings) and Jantex a national hygiene led van operation.

Walter is well known within the UK Logistics industry having led the development as MD or CEO of three UK parcel delivery networks, Parcelnet (now Hermes), HDNL (now Yodel) and most recently Collect+.
